About Oundle Community Car Club
How it works
Oundle Community Car Club is just one example of a community car club. Community car clubs let people rent their own car to others who need a vehicle for a short period of time. Examples might include a trip to the shops or a hospital visit.
There are no fees to join the club. You only pay when you hire the car.
Oundle Community Car Club uses an app called Cuvva to insure you when you borrow the car. Cuvva has been selling short-term car insurance for around 10 years. Cuvva takes care of the insurance when you book a trip. You pay for the insurance with the Cuvva app for the time you need the car. Cuvva also collects a small additional fee (currently £3 per hour, up to a maximum of £25 per day) which is distributed back to the club.
The insurance is priced individually to you, based on your age, location and other factors. You must have a full GB driving licence to use Cuvva.

About the car
The car is a 5 door 2015 Nissan Qashqai N-TEC+ DIG-T. It is a large and reliable family car with lots of in-built technology including a sat-nav, bluetooth, DAB radio, all-round parking camera, cruise control and lane warnings.
The car uses unleaded petrol. If you borrow the car, you need to return it with the same amount of fuel.
The car is perfect for trips with the kids, as well as having room for plenty of shopping! It comes with the option of a car seat suitable for toddlers and above.
The car is based in the north of Oundle. You will have to collect and return the car when you make a booking.
